I'm back

I didn't play with my kitty, I couldn't find him. So, I got up in my roof and talked to a friend while watching the last rays of sun become one with night's black cape. Twilight is my favorite time of day, no question about that. I discovered it last summer while talking on the phone with the same friend outside my house. Sucks that it flew unnoticed under my radar for 14 years... Well, yeah. In the previous post, I said it was sunset, I was wrong, I couldn't see well through the window. It was more like a late twilight. It was so beautiful! My house is in the "flat-er" (Is that a word?!) part of town and behind me I could see the hills against a foggy, indigo colored sky and house lights twinkling in the midst of it. In front me, the sun was almost set and the sky was drenched in scarlett and red-orange streaks. I watched as the indigo turned into black and the scarlett streaks were replaced by a minty green and  a coffee colored big horizontal stripe. =]

I wish I could had made that more poetic, but I just had to spill it in here fast.

On other news: My cat watches Puka on TV. He stays looking at the screen so intently for so long, he fools you into believing that he actually understands what's happening. It's so cute to see him!

I know I've mentioned my cat in every other post, but it's just that he's new and I can't get enough of him. It will eventually stop...

In the previous post I forgot to wish a happy 4th of July to my American friends. So, Happy 4th of July! Question: Do you celebrate it? I mean, I know you do and it's a holiday, but do you feel all patriotic and get all soft for your nation? You know what I mean... Or is it just another holiday?
