I Will Guide You In The Night
...I won't lie but I didn't like Panic's new album until yesterday and this morning. I really, really, really didn't like it. And yesterday I was watching their videos on Youtube and I came across The Green Gentleman and...I dunno what happened but I liked it. I actually liked it. It wasn't 'this is decent...' but more 'OMG. PANIC! <333333333' This morning while cleaning I put their album on and listened to it and I liked it again.
And I know you're probably going, 'Er...so what Nav?' but I just feel sorta weird. I, up to now, thought the album was way too odd [no pun intended] and it just wasn't Panic but you know what, it is Panic. It's an absolutely beautiful album and I really love it.
I'm quite sure my problem was that their new album is completely different from their old album and I was all 'What is this shit?' but when I listen to it now I just love it [with the exception of folkin' around which just doesn't work for me]. This makes me happy. Like tingly, fuzzy happy and yay Panic!
Those guys are just fuckin' awesome.
[i think i'll still always like their first album more though. and the song, the only difference between martyrdom and suicide is press coverage will always be my favourite.]
P.S. Spit the Dark is PRRRREEEEEEEETTTTTTYYYYYY.
