So hey, I hope all of you had a great Christmas time!!! :D So this entry it's pure blah, blah, and blah from my part and trying to continue my meme, so if you want to skip it go ahead LOL but I have some pics down there that I want you to see :P
This last couple of weeks have been kind of difficult, last time I told you my grandpa was not being good, the problem is that he suddenly stopped feeling his feet so he couldn't walk anymore, and that's a big problem, because he can't move to any place at all, the biggest issue had to be going to the bathroom, and it's not easy to just carry him because of his height, my dad and my uncles and my aunt were trying to do the best, but it's also really exhasuting for them. So they took him to the hospital to see what was the problem, after some days of going back and forth, and tons of medical things, they found out it had something to do with his back, so he was let to stay into the hospital which made things better, because the nurses can take better care of him, and he went on surgery this past wednesday, so far he's feeling better and that's a good thing. I hope he can recover the movement of his feet.
I've been spending almost all my time at home with my mom doing chores, watching movies, relaxing.
For Christmas we went with my aunt and my cousin Gaby and we have a small dinner, and play some videogames and had a good time. I'm also been visiting some other family and friends.
I watched "The Hangover", oh boy, it was so good, I laugh the whole thing, really awesome movie. I went to watch "New York, I love you", because I loved the first version of this love stroy shorts with "Paris, j' t aime" , and this one was good too, I enjoyed it. I also watched the "Princess and the Frog", and I LOVED it, it's so beautiful, I ended up crying at the end, it was so cute, I love my fairytale Disney movies for sure, the croc make me laugh the most! :D Watched "Ever after, a cinderella story" with Drew Barrymore, I love that movie!
I'm really happy with my gifts, starting with the fact that my front row tickets to the see the JB two months ago were already part of my Christmas gifts haha, I got a stuffed "Bloo" from my favorite cartoon Foster's Home :D, some pretty clothes, and my mom surprised me with the ultimate editions of the two first Harry Potter movies in BluRay, which are a big deal, because they're part of a collection, that apart from the movies it has some special booklets with offcial photographs of the movies and behind the scenes, and also includes two disc with bonus material of interviews and documentaries about the making of all the movies, and screen tests of the kids as well as audition tapes and much more, it's heaven for a fan like me of the process of making movies, especially Harry Potter ones!!! :D
So yeah that's my life and here's the next part of this meme that I keep delaying...
Day 13 → A fictional book
Idk, pretty much all the books I read are fictional, Potter, Narnia... I love fantasy literature the most that's for sure. I love also stories about the age of Merlin and King Arthur. Romantic stories are also the best, especially from Jane Austen.
Day 14 → A non-fictional book
I once read a book about a pretty big earthquake that happened here in Mexico like 15 years ago, I guess that one counts as non-fictional, idk I don't like reading real things at all LOL
Day 15 → A fanfic
I used to read Harry Potter fanfics like 7 years ago, but then I stopped because it started ruining everything for me, and I don't really like that much fan fics about real people, though lately, I've been caught with this stories that people do on YouTube with scenes and all, those are funny to watch LOL
Day 16 → A song that makes you cry (or nearly)
Ok I've got two songs, first its an instrumental one from the Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban soundtrack, I love instrumental music, the most part of the time I always end up crying listening to some sort of it, but this song especially it's so beautiful and has a special place in my heart, I remember that a friend lend me the CD and the very first minute I listened to it, tears started falling and I couldn't stop for some minutes later, and I always cry anytime I listen to it, the melody it's so powerful.
It's called "A window to the past" and it was composed by John Williams, let me know what you think of it. (It took me some time to found the original version on YT :P)
Another song that I always find myself crying to, is "The best day" by Taylor Swift, it's a simple but beautiful song, because it describes exactly my relationship with my mom, I have a lot of best days with her, more than I would ask for and I'm really thankful for that, so that's why this song is close to my heart.
Day 17 → An art piece (painting, drawing, sculpture, etc.)
ehhh... I'm not the best on the art department so yeah, I don't any good things about it, or neither I have a favourite painting or something, so let's just skip this one LOL
Day 18 → Whatever tickles your fancy
I want to share some recent pics I take in this last week :)
My godfather and my cousins put on this beautiful thing every year on their parking lot, it's a representation of the birth of Baby Jesus with figures, and they put up the plants, the earth, the fountain, the sand... everything to make it look like this .It takes them 4 days. And I wanted to share with you the hard work they go through and the beautiful result :)
At the top of the little mountain there's Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus, surrounded by Gabriel, and the Three Kings Caspar, Melchior and Balthasar, then the rest of the figures are pastors that are walking towards them to meet Baby Jesus, climbing the mountain, or walking through the desert :)
You can even see the devil, the red figure, inside a cave, under the mountain.
Then I have this picture I took on Christmas afternoon, this the way the sky was looking and I thought it was beautiful :D The beauty of this world never stops to amaze me.
And to finish a pic of me and my first niece, her name is Regina and she's 6 months old :D She loves the camera!!!
