Yes, im home. but not everything's back to normal just yet...
So, i went to Taipei for a very very tiring business trip. Real life decided that i needed to up my dose of work+little sleep+fever+work+arashi-less life+fatigue+work+political protest+workworkwork...and to top it all off, i had my period. so lets add to the equation cramps+bitchiness...
But, it wasn't all bad. Although it would have been heaps better if i went there for Arashi's concert a week earlier, as originally planned. I did manage, however, to buy the RE versions of One Love and Truth. No magazines though, coz i didnt feel it was right to drag my boss around taipei looking for arashi mags/stuff so i just went to the record bar int he malland bought whatever i could find, which were the two RE singles which were the only Arashi CDs left.
I told my boss about Arashi's con and so we went over to Taipei Arena. I was kind of hoping to see any kind of trace of arashi's presence and the con but all i found was a booklet of October's program guide. Sadly, the only Arashi thing it had was the tiny postage stamp-sized logo of AAA in Taipei. kinda disappointing to not see any other traces of Arashi. guess it was just wishful thinking.... Aside from Taipei Arena, we went to 101 and the malls around that area, Sun Yat-sen museum/temple? (not srue) , Freedom park and other places. So, yeah, we got to go around... but it was definitely not a holiday coz work was just...blah T_T
anyway...i'm just glad to be home. I've actually been home for a week now. i got back Tuesday but i was way to sick to type anything. caught a fever while i was there. my boss was a little worried that i might not even be allowed out of the aiport upon arrival coz of my fever but i was somehow able to walk pass the thermal screen thingy undetected. Anyway, i'm a little better now, i dont have a fever but now i've got the german measles...which means, more days (more like a week more) to rest...yay! the itchiness doesn't bother me all that much so its a welcomed extra week off. now im gonna go and catch up on whatever i can on LJ...
Just one more thing, one of the most amusing things or probably the single most amusing thing i saw on the trip could be found in our hotel room. This was posted outside of the sauna we had in our bathroom (yeah, we had a sauna and jacuzzi). This totally cracked me and my boss up...XDDD
