It's been almost 8 months since Riley's been gone... Weird.
It's strange how London and Diagon Alley are merely shadows of their former grandeur. Hardly do you see people out in the streets, and when you do, their actions are hurried and afraid. Is the bustling city just a memory? Did it ever even exist? I feel...strange. I have a weird feeling in my abdominal parts and I don't think it's going away any time soon.
Sometimes I wonder how much different my life would be if I still had my beautiful wife. Would we have a baby? Would one be on the way? I certainly wouldn't be sharing a flat with my best mate and his girlfriend. Seeing them together...it hurts a bit. It reminds me of what I had and what I lost. I'll see her again someday, though, and even though that's barely a comfort, at least it's something.
I'm making a pilgrimage to Hogsmeade in pursuit of fine booze! If anyone has a preference or wants to get a little tipsy with me, don't hesitate to let me know! I always love drinking partners.
