You're bored? Lucky. Between all the things Dumbledore is asking me to do and all the things I have to do for some other reason, free time is scarce. Doesn't help that I have to do it all with James.

Ah yes, how is headship with James anyway? I still can't imagine him as any sort of authority.

It's pretty surreal. The sort of things that Dali paintings should be based on. I was half convinced for most of the summer that James had kidnapped Dumbledore and was now intercepting and redirecting all his mail.

That does sort of sound like something James would do...But who knows, right?
How's everything else going for you?

Well, sure, it's a little... evil for James, but you never know with that kid. Some elaborate marauder prank may involve kidnapping Dumbledore and making James head boy. Other than that, everything's going pretty well, how about for you?

Everything's been fairly calm. Not really to my taste, but the year promises to perk up a bit more.

Really? My guess was that you'd actually held him down and forced him to write it, or else that you'd written it for him.
