The magnum opus is complete.
I feel a sense of relief and a vague sense of fear. The shelf is now empty. In my mind's eye, a slightly younger version of myself waves a prop sword in triumph. Top that!!!
I know I can do it. My best work is in me yet. But I just can't think about it right now. Limbo is over and now I enjoy that brief point in time between the record release and the "what are you working on now?" phase.
Limbo is over. The space between heaven and hell. Where we're headed, I'm not sure. But I thought I glimpsed a little bit of heaven yesterday.
