Another small victory: Hawaii Tourism Head quits over racist and sexist emails
Rex Johnson, the former head of the Hawaii Tourism Authority(the state's top tourism body) resigned yesterday rather than face censure for his use of his work computer to forward racist and sexist emails to his friends. For those who want the gory details, one email referred to Barack Obama as a "coon" and another to Hillary Clinton as a "beaver".

Johnson was previously censured by the HTA board of directors for having used his work computer to email pornographic content to his friends. In the earlier decision his salary was reduced from $240,000 to $200,000 per year.
