Kenya update 3
Well, it looks like Mungiki is now in the mix. Reports from Western Kenya indicate that Mungiki has been forcibly recruiting men into their mobs for "Kikuyu payback" against Opposition-affiliated mobs of Luo and Kalenjin youth.
Two Opposition MPs have also been killed although one inicident is thought to be the result of a love triangle and the other might have been a simple car-jacking.
The African Union is calling on all diplomatic measures to try and resolve the issue, but Raila has been stirring things up by calling the killings of the MPs "assassinations".
The death toll is now over 800 people. And unfortunately there is no sign of much movement in the talks.
The whole thing is very unsettling.
