Stupid rides again: 53% of USans have negative view of Islam

Poll: Majority of Americans (sic) have negative view of Islam (alone among all of the major religions)
63% said they knew little or nothing about it, but of those, the vast majority said they still didn't like it. And then there are the weirdos at the anti-Muslim hate sites who claim they DO know about Islam and hate it.
Although a liberal arts education is not universally useful, I do think that if there were more emphasis placed on the real values taught by the liberal arts, uninformed hatred might be a little less "normal".
Also, what's with all these idiots turning up in Haiti to "help" with no appropriate skills, no backup and no food or water of their own?
Well, you know, that guy in Avatar didn't have any training and HE ended up being the Maktakor something or other!
