There's a call
here for all the "non-existant" Science Fiction and/or Fantasy fans of color to go represent themselves and say how long they've been fans. Apparently some people in the mainstream believe that we only existed with the advent of the internet. Even if it's not the case that they actually meant to say that (we'll see if that comes up or not in the next round), I think it's interesting to see just how many of us there really are. It's been an amazing experience to say the least.
