Oh, uh, hi f-list! Hi! I promise I wasn't dead. But we will get to why there has been no ficcage later.

Because now. MY BOYS ARE BACK. And I love them, yes I dooooo~!

HI SAM. HI DEAN. HI BOBBY. I missed you. Will you be kicking some ass? Oh yes, you will. Excellent. This makes me pleased.

Okay, so now that I'm done with my squee, shall we discuss the episode?

I really, really want to reach through the TV and smack the shit out of Dean, but I normally want to smack the shit out of one of the boys, so this doesn't greatly surprise me. Really, though, was anyone else insanely happy when he got popped in the face with Isaac's rifle? Srsly Dean.

Also, have the boys both misplaced their Politeness In Public button? First Sam ("How'd you start hunting?" like it's going to be a great bedtime story. Really, Sam WINCHESTER, you should have seen that one) then Dean (Death of someone's husband =/= time to make references to movies or bad jokes). I definately could see a couple fumbles in the writing here and there; Sam and Dean may be assholes some times, but they come from a Hunter's background. They should know that there are just some things you don't say.

I must also say that I was excessively disappointed in the way some of the sins were killed off. Sloth, yes. Brilliantly done. Lust? Fantastic. All those shots of the rosary floating in the water with that pretty blonde head shoved into it were wonderful. Envy? Great. And of course, whichever sin was possessing Isaac was dealt with in a truly remarkable manner.

But I was less than impressed with Deux Ex Machina Blonde Chick and her demon-stabbity knife of doom. I have this big thing for the seven deadly sins, and I would really have liked to see them fleshed out more, instead of just focusing on a couple. Foo.

Plus... given the way she disappeared all of the sudden, I'm waiting for this to turn into a "She's really a demon/supernatural critter/vampire/WTFever but she has this tragic past that makes her want to kill her own kind" or similarly overdone gimmick.

But! End of the episode! When Sam totally calls Dean on his complete and utter Bullshit! This was love. The tension in that car is going to be phenominal during the season :3

I am definately looking forward to next week, although I might have to watch it with my blankie and my stuffed unicorn because one thing that really creeps me the fuck out is Kids That Are Not Right.

Squeeeeeeeeeee~!

season 3, supernatural, squee, fangirl
