So this is Christmas...

Well, the semester is finally over. I got an "A+" in all my ensembles and my lessons, which is just amusing. And my GPA finally doesn't suck anymore. We have 3 new sisters and 3 new brothers. Marching Band is over, and I have officially one more year until graduation.

The drink of this year has become jello shots. And they are wonderful. I might have to test them with Andre for New Years. That could be amazing.

After about half a million concerts, we had the neo festivities and band banquet, which were all lovely. I still don't know where I stand on Chuck E Cheese, probably because I showed up almost 2 hours late. All of Drumline was drunk(and that's why I love being in that section). The only thing I could think when everyone from my year was receiving jackets was "My God, why am I still here?" Literally. I still have no idea why I came back for a 3rd year. And now it's over. I remember swearing on my life I would never do marching band again after freshmen year. And look what happened. I think I made a couple friends out of it, though. Julzzz is a keeper. Tim and Mike too(no, I will never call him That Guy).

After being snowed in College Park for the weekend and having 2 gigs postponed, I managed to rescue my car via kick-fighting all the snow in Van Munching. Molly is now home too, and while sometimes she is very fun, she has been a crucial bitch the past few hours. I think it's being home that sets both of us off. It's going to be miserable living here next year. I hope it won't last long. Maybe I'll find a job and not have to live here at all. Who knows.

We're going out next weekend to celebrate my friend's 21st birthday. She the last of the older group of my hometown friends to be legal. Our parents have decided to be DDs and drive us around downtown Annapolis for the night. It should be quite fun. Hopefully her foot won't still be in a cast by then. That might cause problems...or at least a little ridicule, from all of us. I'm super excited. Sally's a crazy drunk, which means the night will be one huge story well worth telling everyone and their mother.

I think I've changed a lot this semester. I've been a lot more myself. Sometimes it sucks not to be able to see everyone that just graduated whenever I want, but hopefully I can catch up with everyone over break.

I'm hoping to be able to make some serious road trips over winter break, even though I'll be taking a winter class. If anyone wants to tag along on a NYC or JMU road trip, let me know. I think those will both be happening.

And with that, I bid you adieu. Happy Winter festivities.
