When we get a weekend of non-threatening snowy weather I am going to take a drive up to Ida maybe even make it a date. The hunt, unakite and agate which should be fairly easy because there really is no market for either. Or I could be wrong, it could be very much picked over...I am sure I'll find something though. It seems like where ever there is Jasper deposits there is agate to be had and I would be hunting a place called "hawksbill creek" and maybe "Holt hill" for these specimens. I think the nice thing about this particular hunt is I dont really need a 4x4 since the sites are a couple hundred yards from the road. So we will see, we need better weather before I commit.
