2. SHUT YOUR WHINING. I don't want to hear any complaints about how this game is being run wrong - why wasn't this fandom included? why isn't this character in the polls? There's no possible way I can include every single character from every single fandom to please every single person participating in this game, so SHUT IT DOWN.
3. NO FAKE JOURNALS and NO OUTSIDE PLATFORMS (DREAMWIDTH, FACEBOOK, TWITTER, ETC.). Due to previous incidents of ballot stuffing, fake Livejournals created during the dates of this or any previous game OR any platform that isn't Livejournal (Dreamwidth, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) will not be counted in the results. You're free to participate in the comments with them, but don't vote. Don't think I won't take the time to stop the game and count them all myself. I did it last year, I'll do it again. I'M BUYING ALL THE HOT DOGS AND GIVING THEM TO THE GOOD PEOPLE.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Guys, it's the end of an era! I've decided that this will be my last Fandom March Madness as mod. I've loved running it but I think five years is a good run. I'd like to pass the game on to someone else to keep things going.
If you're interested in taking over as mod next year, please email me at typicrobots [at] gmail [dot] com by Wednesday, March 14, 1PM EST with:
- your LJ username
- how you would approach FMM as mod
- what changes you plan to make once the game is yours
If a group of you would like to apply as co-mods, I'm not at all opposed to that since I know this is a lot of responsibility for one person (OH HOW I KNOW). If that's the case, send me one email with your LJ usernames and answers.
