I have a question: what is Cougar Town about? I've been considering giving it a shot since Abed likes it, but the name makes me think it's about sexy middle-aged women . Is this an accurate description?

The show's maybe 6 or 7 first few episodes were about a woman who, after her divorce, started to go out there and get back into the dating world - yes, occasionally dating younger men.

HOWEVER! They realized that really wasn't working and totally dropped that aspect. It's really now about a close-knit group of awesome friends who sit around and drink a lot of wine and make up their own games, and are generally awesome.

It's my favorite show on TV right now, and easy to jump into if you don't want to start from the beginning. It's on tonight at 8:30 on ABC (and everything else seems to be repeats lol) so I recommend checking it out. It's got lots of Scrubs cameos (as it's made by the same people) if that's your thing.

And if you want to get a feel for the show, here's a highlight reel for this season:

The cast and crew have been fighting really hard for their show - spending tons of money flying around the country, meeting fans, holding viewing parties, open bars, etc. - because ABC horribly promotes their show ( ... )

"The Most Irrelevantly Titled Show on TV" would be a fair description. :D It's far more about the group that develops having crazy shenanigans and drinking a truly astonishing amount of wine.
