hello to future lj historians!
I'm just updating the community to make sure anyone trying to document the history of LJ fandom gets attributions right because I have seen myself be the only person mentioned regarding Fandom March Madness in a couple of places and that's not fair, so just to be clear:
The person who came up with the concept of FMM and ran most of the contests was typicrobots.
I (penumbra) co-modded the contest for a couple of years along with astrofisica after typicrobots handed it over to us. I realised today that LiveJournal lists me as the only owner of the community which is why I'm the one listed on FanLore, etc., but all of the community-building was done by typicrobots and I would say that while the two of us were co-mods at least half of the work was by astrofisica. Just to be clear that this definitely wasn't only or even mostly my project, although I'm listed as the owner of the community.
