Welcome to the Seventh Fandom Steel Cage Match March Madness. No witticisms this year. I've retired.

Rules/Directions

1. Vote for UP TO THREE fandoms in each poll. The top two will make it on this year's bracket.

1b. VOTE BY USING THE FANDOM'S FULL NAME. This is write-in ballot system. Make it easier for us. Otherwise Your votes will be discarded. Not joking.

2. YOUR CHOICES MUST FOLLOW THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA. Enough said.

3. VOTING WILL CLOSED ONE HOUR EARLIER THAN USUAL.. Due to the nature of the chosen ballet system, we definitely will needing an extra hour to sort the votes, so get your votes by 12PM EST.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Fandoms eligible for the competition are TELEVISION SHOWS which aired their last episode within TWO YEARS PRIOR to the competition or FILM FRANCHISES where the last film in the franchise was released within TWO YEARS PRIOR to the competition. (The cut-off year is essentially 2012.)

After much discussion, WEB SERIES and MY LITTLE PONY: FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC / CHILDREN'S TELEVISION PROGRAMS are ineligible. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is eligible under the title THE AVENGERS (2012) and it will include MARVEL'S AGENTS OF SHIELD. Spare your arguments. We don't care.

Examples:

• The Big Bang Theory, House, The Amazing Spider-Man (2012 Film) and The Secret Circle are all eligible.
• X-Files, Firefly, Buffy the Vampire Slayer / Angel, Veronica Mars, and Harry Potter are all ineligible.

Ask, don't assume if you are unsure about a fandom's eligibility or what bracket you should nominate it in. Any misfired nominations will be not counted in the final tally.
