College is going well. Second term has been great so far... WAY better than first term.

Met some fun new people...
I realized today that summer is going to be really strange. The only person that I hung out with last term that I still actually talk to is Amanda. I was thinking about it all last night before I fell asleep... the point that Dave told me that he didn't want me as a part of his life anymore was a definite turning point in my life. I realized that the people I thought were my friends were really only friends by association... almost an obligation to Dave. I can't even remember the last time I talked to Jamie or Doug of Jeff or Aaron or Drew or any of them. And I guess that's fine with me. I thought I needed them first term, since I didn't have Dave here and I didn't have any other friends... just the people I knew from high school - them. But now I've established new friendships and I have this amazing new family out here that I'm absolutely dreading leaving when the semester is over. Summer is going to have to consist of keeping myself extremely busy. At least I have Nic, Tim, Lauren, etc. to spend time with, right? So I'll get a job. Get a membership at the gym. Save up money and not spend the entire summer retarded. Take a class or two at OCC. I'm excited, yet, dreading it.
I'm going to miss my front porch friends, my fucking amazing kick-ass lovers of roommates, my random friends from around the dorm.
Sigh.
