Time to update my good ol' friend LJ here.
Been working a ton! I've been working as a contract stocker at the Hill Air Force Base Commissary for more than a year now. Been collecting more and more accounts the longer I worked there--I just barely took over the Oscar Meyer from Kristy there--a big account for sure!--so now I have no life, haha. That's okay, though. I need the extra money to pay off these credit cards, and perhaps my Sonata if I can stick with everything I have without dying. Job's a bit demanding in that I have to be there everyday (no days off!), although I definitely try to sneak in a Sunday off once in awhile since that's the only day no loads come in.
Anyway, aside from work, I've just been going crazy with Steam, an online store that sells computer games, oftentimes for dirt-cheap! They're always having these awesome 75% off sales. My recent purchase included two Tomb Raider games for 2.49 each. So as soon as I have extra time one of these days, I'm going to be doing nothing but playing into eternity.
I've recently been getting really competitive with Magic: The Gathering in the standard format, and I've been spending way too much money on singles and boosters, trying to build tough decks for my opponents to beat. Haven't been doing too great in the tournaments, though--sadface!--but I make sure to analyze my losses, ask for constructive criticism on my decks, and try to fine-tune my decks and play style accordingly. Jeez, for a card game, it requires a ton of mental work!
Well, it seems my life is pretty simple right now. Work, Magic, computer games--that's it! I'm still into music, as always, so my collection is consistently growing every week since bands keep releasing new material all the damn time. I need a new media tower to house all my CDs, since the four I have are all full. I've just been stacking all my new CDs all over the place. Will be buying the new Aerosmith and All That Remains albums today. That reminds me: I need to buy dog food for my best furry friend on four legs while I'm out so he doesn't starve to death! Man, that pitbull just likes to eat and eat and eat (like his daddy, haha).
Well, that's enough for now. Ciao!
