The Breaking of Rock and Roll
So we were walking down the streets of salem on halloween night with Ryan French his grilfrend marci riley and others. We walked past this girl playing acoustic guitar, and we pay her no real mind because she is just kinda alone in a corner although with a small pa system. riley yells freebird because thats the thing you do, if you want to be the biggest asshole, and get the 5,ooo dollars. Later on we see this guy while sitting at a bus stop watching the people go by. He was wearing a penis and testicles suit, as well as a new york shirt, clearly knowing what this ment because im not effin retahdid I yelled " Nice costume, the sand monster from star wars!" Being the synical post-generationXer I am and loving skateboarding and snowboarding and other extrime sports, and having lots of alternative rock records to my credit, I thought that he would get it. But in the typical fashion of the night, He did not, and replied " NO ITS A PENIS AND TWO BALLS". To which i replied "OH MY GOD THE CHILDREN JEZUS MAN!"
Anywhoo, afew booze soaked gummy bears and sightings of the Viciouse Bastards later, we were hanging out with Nick Telles, Justin Favazza,(From the celebrated cream cover band Esponteneo) and his girlfriend Holly and a freind of nicks who was dressed like a chinaman(TO whcih I asked "Dong where is my auto mobile?")And we saw the same girl with an acoustic guitar earlier. We stayed and watched her and it turned out it was friend of the late Elliot Smith Mary Lou Lord. Riley Asked her to play "Black Brid", she said she didn't know how to play it. Riley screamed "OH MAN! MARY LOU LORD DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO PLAY BLACK BIRD? HOW ARE YOU GONNA FIT IN WITH THE INDIE ROCK SCENE! GO PLAY SOME ELLIOT SMITH SONGS!" and then stormed off, I think she called Riley a fag. But by then we were long gone, and it makes you wonder: Was she only waiting for that moment to arrive? Probably not, because that was mean and embaressing. Vote Magellin Catastrophe in '04 ghost town needs a new mayor and fast Dirk Danger has been in for too long.
