The 19th Thanksgiving of my existence is thankfully over. This year it wasn't nearly as bad as other years, usually Thanksgiving is my least favorite holiday because of family dysfunction, but as we all get older we all get more mature and so Thanksgiving is more fun. I bet you'll do fewer drugs now that you're back in Ames.

I feel obligated to say fuck Sufjan, just on general principles. I hate every song by him that I've heard not to give him a second chance.

Chris Voss burned me "Be" and it was so good it made me not hate Chris Voss anymore. Gets my vote for the best rap cd of the year, because Kanye West is annoying.

I can't stand Kanye West. Does that make me a bad person?

Kanye is a man with some absolutely ridiculous political ideas, and he's very easy to dislike, but even if I wanted to dislike him, I can't get past the fact that he's an absolute musical genius. Also, he makes some damn catchy music, which is an underrated quality.

Did you see him on SNL? He had a fucking orchestra backing him (and Adam Levine). NOT easy to dislike unless you know him personally.

I saw him on SNL. I hated it. I don't find his music catchy at all; it's the kind of music I don't even want in the background while I'm doing something else unimportant. (I did think it was cool that he had an orchestra, though. I guess he can have a couple props for that.)
