I think Amy Sedaris has officially usurped Catherine Zeta-Jones from the coveted position of "Woman I'd Go Gay For"

It's not that I ever loved CZJ as an actress, I just thought she was the epitome of beauty (as DJ knows all too well). But Amy is so goofy and talented, I think I'm developing a gay crush on her. Okay not REALLY, but she is awesome. I guess I'll eventually figure out why people love her brother so much - I have a lot of reading to do.

Second to Amy would be a woman who apparently my boyfriend suddenly finds hot (mwhaha), Jessica Stevenson. But I'd rather she marry Simon Pegg. They're meant to be, dammit.

Speaking of Jessica, me and DJ saw Confetti last night in an itty bitty theatre on Dupont Circle. Tiniest fucking screen I ever saw, but it turned out alright. The movie itself was not quite up to par with a Christopher Guest film, but reminiscent of one and had some funny moments.

I think I'm starting to like television again. I usually never watch it unless I'm over DJ's, but now I'm always reminding myself to tune in. I'm consistently watching Colbert every night now, plus I got The Office on Thursday nights and Lost on Wednesday nights. And maybe Nip/Tuck on Tuesdays, if I feel like it. God help me when Scrubs returns to NBC.

Okay, time for the shitty news: Cody is still limping terribly and has another vet appointment on Saturday. I don't wanna think about how much the X-ray will cost, only to learn he does indeed have a torn ligament and needs surgery. My insane mother's automatic answer to that is euthanasia, so I gotta figure out what to do. I hope I can afford it because I don't wanna give him to someone else, and there's no way I'm letting her put him down like an old race horse. Fuck. That.

Okayyy, let's not end on a sad note...uhh, my DVD collection just expanded! In addition to both seasons of NBC's The Office, I now own Seven, The Princess Bride, Predator, a collection of Bruce Lee and Sonny Chiba films, Batman and 28 Days Later. Yayyyy.
