Let me just say that fall has been absolutely gorgeous here in Denver. DENVER, not Littleton, people. I live in Denver now. I pity all of you who do not live in Denver this month, because man are you missing out. I love how all the trees are no younger than 30 years old, and the leaves noticably change colors, and cover front lawns in sheets. There's this road in my neighborhood that has big trees framing it, and it is SO beautiful driving down that street- tall, reddish-orange trees, leaves all over with a bright blue sky in the background. It's like a post-card from somewhere on the East coast. Why did I never notice the leaves so much before? It always seemed like they'd change at the last second and then fall off the next day. I don't know. But man has this fall been beautiful around here.
Hooray for me! I have an internship set up starting January 9th, 2006, $12 an hour, roughly 10 hours a week, maybe more, at Harris, Karstadt, Jamison & Powers; where I'll be working under Jamison's group. Woo! Go me!
Don't get me wrong, I like working at Victoria's Secret. But I am sick of retail, being nice to the general public, pretending to be a people person when I'm not, working until 10:00 at night 4 or 5 times a week when I have class at 8:30 the next day and oh yeah, working with Penny. I have been in the "customer service" business for 3 years. I'm done with it.
So anyway.
