w00t!!!
What a weekend!! =) It has been soooo much fun. Unproductive in terms of work, but I've told myself (and others) that I will not worry about that right now. I will enjoy the friends the Lord has given me, the fellowship, and especially the laugher.
I have laughed more in the past 3 days than I have in a really loooong time...and I think I have Jeff to thank for that. =) Ever since that Walmart trip...hee hee. I am going to need to get my hands on some hair dye again soon...0=)
Chapter retreat was good...in more ways than one. The content was great, I loved the fact that Danielle came to speak on discipleship and the Westbrooks and the Kulps talked about relationships, and Meghan talked about community. It's nice to have a discussion/talk on relationships that don't automatically mean dating relationships. =) John did a really goooooood job on his talk, even though it was long. =) It was long, but the content he was covering could've taken three times the amount of time he took. And the roleplaying that the Kulps had us do was really funny and very productive, it showed us things in ways words would not have been able to. Lauren went on the retreat, as did Jeff and Sean and Dave and Sarah. =) I'm glad Lauren went, I think it was good. =) And Sarah and I spent a lot of time together there. We spent time talking, goofing around, giggling...it was good. I spent quite a bit of time with the aforementioned guys, too. The five of us and a few others stayed up until about 5AM and just hung out and did very random things...and we got up at 7:30 to get ready for worship at 8. Hee hee...we were a bit tired at times, but so very wired at others. And Sarah, Jeff, and I were usually laughing if not paying attention to one of the speakers. =) I got to know the guys a bit better, which I wanted to do. It's amazing how the Lord puts people in my life when I need them. Like having Jeff around so I can laugh all the time. Well, that's not the only reason to have Jeff around, but well, yea, whatever. I just stuck my foot in my mouth. 0=) Oops...Well, anyway, back to the retreat. The Lord just totally spoke through the speakers, and basically let me know that I have some issues I need to address when it comes to my relationships with certain people. It's amazing how He lets me know of the places in which I am lacking and doesn't just totally cast me off. His love is soo incredible...
Big Red Freakout was tonight. What a game. =) I have to go to more hockey games, I think. I think this was my third of the year, and man, I love it every time. We won 4-3, with 7 seconds left in OT. It was a thriller, that's for sure. They credited Ryan Shields with the winning goal, but I'm not sure, since I didn't reallie see it well. There were some that were thinking one of the Brown players kicked it in with his skate by accident, but even with all the commotion, that goal wouldn't have counted. The goal doesn't count if it hits off someone's skate! Whatever, we won. =) It was just fun to be there. We played a bit sloppy, but considering how we've been playing all year, it wasn't all too bad. I've seen worse games.I think I need to get season tickets next year. Mebbe I can convince Alissa and Jonny to get them too. Hee hee...

What can I say, it's been a good weekend. =) And what have I done today? Not much of anything, really. Well, I have. But anyway. Chapter retreat, Big Red Freakout, and then I went out with Jeff to Starbucks for a bit. Which was nice, I got a vanilla creme, nice and hot. I keep forgetting to tell them no whip. Oh well, they always end up asking. I had a good time. We seem to talk cars and driving stories a lot, which is cool. =) It seems that whatever we talk about, we're always laughing or grinning. It is sooo incredibly nice to have a friend to laugh with. Not too many people have been able to make me laugh as much as Jeff has already. Well, I can think of a few from high school, but that was an awful long time ago, it seems. The Lord has truly blessed me. =) I love all my friends...
