Books and more

So I just read Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella last night. Pretty light read. I was somewhat disappointed, though. It seemed to draw out the whole point that she's stuck in a dead-end job and seems to be a failure. Two thirds of the book is pretty much about her schemes and fantasies about money, and the last third of it about the story of her neighbors and the mutal fund company. Which developed so quickly I couldn't believe I was done with the book when I was finished. I think the latter part of the story could've been developed more slowly. Overall it was satisfying though, which is good. Now watch me read the next 3 books in the series. 0=)

Cryptonomicon next!! =D

Why am I reading so much all of a sudden? Well, I went to Barnes & Noble last night. =D Out of the four books I had on my list, the only one they had was Cryptonomicon. And yet I ended up buying four books anyway. 0=) One was a cookbook (which looks awesome, btw), so that doesn't count. Shopaholic wasn't on my list but I heard good things about it. Prep was on my list, but apparently it came out Sunday, and they were sold out Monday night! I'll have to wait a bit for it, I guess. I want to read The Codex...why, I don't know. I haven't heard anyone say anything about it, either. Oh well, B&N didn't have that either, so I'll have to wait for that as well. I've read a lot this semester...I love it. =D It's been a long time since I've read this much, and I find it very relaxing. =)

So I've been in the mood to talk lately...but I have nothing to talk about!! Nothing interesting is going on in my life at the moment. I guess that's a good thing? I don't know...I'm starting to get bored, and that's not a good thing. I don't know what to do about that. Yeah, I'm reading. But I need to do more than that...I need to interact more. What to do...

This is interesting.
