It's amazing the people you see in Price Chopper at 10pm the night before classes start. =) And yes, I was one of them. =) I was just happy to be there before midnight. And get out of there before midnight. Especially since I had class at 8am! My first 8am class ever...my senior year. Go figure. And what does my prof do- dims the lights. For an 8am class. Um, even I'm not that dumb! He basically invited us to fall asleep...thankfully I didn't. But had to get a bagel in order to keep me awake. This class will be interesting, that's for sure.
My
schedule this semester...minus meetings, small group, & work. It'll be updated when I schedule my work times. But I'm thinking about working Monday and Wednesday, and probably a bit Tuesday as well. I'd like to go to the gym Tuesday and Thursday, I think. And leave Friday free. But we'll see. My VLSI Design class is shorter than I thought it would be- very nice. I'm thinking of doing small group Thursday evenings...which leaves Mondays, Tuesdays, & Wednesdays for other things. Kind of. I'm hoping to play IM volleyball with the Fast Neutrons again, which would take up some Sunday afternoons and Monday nights. We'll see what happens. Yup, I'm being very vague at the moment. I'm guessing I'm going to be spending some time in the lab for VLSI, and probably for ICPD as well. And yes, RPI has an acronym for almost everything. =) Except RPI hockey. Although, I guess that could just be called hot. 0;)
I saw a lot of people today. =) Made me happy. The only person I recognized in my Strengths class was Josh Ross, but I didn't get a chance to talk to him. I'm taking PEA with Aaron, Lauren, and Jim, but not Marie, Ruth, Steve, Pete, or Mike. I'm gonna miss having class with the 5 of them. I don't think I have a single class with them this semester. Which is a sad prospect. But I was happy to see Aaron and Lauren again. And Lauren cut her hair!! =D Lookin good...;) Saw Dan, Joe, & Mike Wong in the basement of the Union when I was running my errands. It was nice to see familiar faces. =) I needed that more than I realized. I talked to Dave Armandt for a while, which was really sweet. =) I have an odd relationship with him- I remember bringing him to Temple one Sunday 2 years ago, and then I pretty much never saw him again. I saw him once or twice during the year, but just said hi & kept walking. It was nice to talk with him again. He's a cool kid. =) Talked with AJ for a while when I was hanging out in the Union, and met his friend Simeon. The two of them talked computer stuff for a while while I finished my stuff before heading to VLSI. Most of the people in my VLSI class I just know by face & name, I really don't know them at all. I knew Brennon and Yuri, and Joe from work study. And I know a whole bunch fo the frat guys in the class by name, just b/c I've had classes with them before. Haven't really enjoyed that experience, but oh well. They're not completely horrible, but I didn't care to have class with them in the past. They can get obnoxious. We'll see how things go. I met a guy named Rob after class, and it turns out he's in my PEA class as well. And we were in Fields together last semester. I'm just happy to talk to someone in that class- I may have a lab partner! ::crosses fingers:: I don't want to partner up with the Castle guys...and I'm sure they don't want me as a partner, either.
And now, the next milestone is 2 weeks away...21, baby! =D
Happy Birthday,
lilhun! =D
