Exhausted Myself!
Well, I guess you can tell how much I've exhausted myself by how (in)frequently I update this thing, so I'm going to try harder with a new technique: SMALL POSTS AT A TIME
What does everyone think? Thinking of posting a large post stresses me out and makes me not want to do it, so here goes a shot:
I just got back from Washington DC from visiting my Diana Wang(stein). We had a lot of fun. We didn't go see Mr. Bush or anything dumb like that, but we hung out and had some quality time together.
The weekend before that, I went with my mother and brother to visit my 2 first and 3 second cousins. It was a lot of fun; it's pretty crazy how much they liked me. They're 2, 5, and 7 - and I actually really enjoyed their company - but I'm also VERY THANKFUL that they aren't mine. AND I still don't want any.
Ms. Dustina Catuilera is back living with me again. She doesn't pay rent, but she's good company. I felt bad leaving her here alone for the weekend. (She's been here since Tuesday.) We had plenty of catching up time today. I played on the computer and she purrrred, sitting on my lap.
I'm selling my Korg Triton keyboard on eBay in a few days. I would like the extra money AND am buying a new, full-sized, 88-key keyboard (with dual hammer action keys). Well, common, my Triton is 2 years old! So, time for an upgrade. Funny thing is it's more like a downgrade - because I am switching from a performance keyboard (which supplies its own sounds) to a keyboard that is just an input that tells the computer (which generates the sound) what notes I'm playing. My example goes as follows:
Typewriter = My current (musical) keyboard
Computer Typing Keyboard = My yet-to-come (musical) keyboard
I know, it gets a little confusing using the word keyboard for two completely different types of things, huh?
So, when I post the auction, I'll provide a link. Here's the new one:
AND the old:
(yes, there are 2 additional octaves when compared to my old one!)
Oh yah, and um, did I mention that WE'RE GOING TO GO SEE GOLDFRAPP IN NYC!!? Ok, I'm excited! I #*$&*ing love them.
AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the new Madonna album.
AND I didn't get December off :'(, so it's back to flying again. blah.
