Life has been up and down lately, but more now on the up side.  I've been working lots (like always) and trying to get this new job thing started.  I'm (hopefully) going to be working for DaimlerChrysler through CDI contract house.  My recruiter sent me some positions today and one looked very promising.  I would be placed at a facility in Troy.

I've been working and working and working on my resume.  She keeps asking me to redo it different ways.  It's getting frustrating and I'm really pulling strings to try and make it as long as she wants.  It's annoying because I've worked really only 2 computer jobs in my short career and trying to come up with a page worth of information (without redundancy) on both jobs is nearly impossible.  I'm on revision 4 today.  Hopefully this will be it.  I feel like it has everything in it that I've ever done.

Yesterday (and today) I worked ready reserve at the airport.  It wasn't too bad as usual.  I slept most of the time and saw some of my flight attendant friends.  It was interesting to see the picketing mechanics at the employee parking lot enterance.  The crazy thing is they now have brand new mechanics working on the planes.  I think that's kind of scary.  Personally, I'd rather have a plane worked on by someone who's been there for 20+ years rather than someone on their second day.  They're still having transition problems and there are quite a few planes parked on the ramp - and some that are stuck at gates.  Such a crazy always changing industry.

Last night, I went on a date with John.  We went to this Chinese restaurant near his house that has vegetarian "chicken".  It's pretty good and you can order any normal chicken meal with it.  I got Sweet and Sour "chicken".  Afterwards, we came back and watched another episode of QAF.  We're on episode 10 of 13, so not doing too badly.  It's kind of sad that it's the last season.  It's also too bad that the story lines became so politically correct.  On it's first season, it was much edgier and controversial.  Also, it wasn't quite reality - like when Emmet met that guy at the bar and they played it like a musical.  These days it's more like a soap opera.  I'll still miss it.   Anyway, I had a really good time.

Also, did anyone see the pictures of how they transported Discovery (the rocket) from California to Floria?  Pretty crazy!

Who would've guessed the big 747 is really a bottom?!
