Suite Array & Cremesheen
WHEE! i went down to mac today and it's out!
okay so apparently, MAC @ Ngee Ann was supposed to sell it ytd, but the guy incharge was on leave so the other SAs did not take it out and sell as the testers are not avaliable yet.
I was about to walk away when i did not see any stand for suite array and cremesheen but luckily, i saw my SA and he took it all out for me!
(yeah i'm guessing he's incharge there)
So Clara and i got to be the ones to break ALL the cremesheen and suite array's testest and boy did we have fun trying cremesheen...
Both of us went in to MAC with the idea of getting Creme d'Nude, so that's the first color we tried. but sadly, the color is just a tad tooo neutral for my liking. It's wayyy to pale and honestly look like crap.
After testing all the colors, there are sadly more than afew boring, dissapointing ones.
However, these are those that care really worth it and will slowly make their way into my collection. (it's perm! so no worries! take your time!)
Hot Gossip - a nice not to pink pink that will be fantastic for every day look.
Ravishing - a coral color that is tad too organge for my taste but is absolutely fantastic.
Crosswires - The very first that i will get on my 2nd trip there (spree val?). a nice pinky orange that is more pink than orange than Ravishing is.
Hang-up - I adore this color to bits, but sadly it's too dark for me. A dark Purple that if worth to get it even if it's just for looking at it.
Speed dial - A nice sweet pink that could be abit too sweet to be your everyday color. Not very excited about it.
Modesty - A nice neutral brownish pink that reminds me of High Tea of the Finery Collection 2, but is much darker and more pink. Love it, but i don't think i'll get it.
Brave Red - color wise is not as great as Russian Red of Cult of Cherry, but the texture is FAR FAR better then that.
Dare You - looks like blood. i'm considering getting it for Halloween if i'm going as a Vampire. Twilight!!!
On-Hold - nothing special, much much prefer Fanfare.
Fanfare - i LOVE this color, it's not too red, not too brown and not too pink! it's like a nice tone that can be my everyday color and not look over done!

On to Suite Array.
The eyeshadow suite isn't that great till the end. The color payoff really isn't that good and the colors are actually quite dissapointing.
I did, however, got 2 of the better reviews one.
MAC Suite Array Collection Eyeshadow Suite in Smoke & Ash and Shallow V. Deep. ($28 each)
Smoke & Ash is because the colors are something i don't really have. Okay so i only have one silver-black (Smoke and Diamonds of Starflash), so getting this is okay. However, if you already have a range of blacks and silvers, don't even border unless you find it pretty and you want to bring it around for travel.

Shallow V. Deep on the other hand is beautiful. The green kind of reminds me of Warm Chill of Cool Heat. but this is much more glittery.
It's a perfect match between blue and green and will be perfect for lazy days which you don't want to go out in neutrals. The texture again is a cause of concern, but i believe with paint point (Soft Ochre for me), the colors will turn out just fine. =))

MAC Suite Array Collection PearGlide Eye Liner in Rave, Wolf, Black Russian, Miss Fortune, Bankroll and Fly-by-Blu ($27 each)
There was concerns for the smudge-ness for these but i can say that there should be any at all! i tried 3 colors on my hand and walk around town for some time and i can't rub it way at all with my fingers! We went for manicure and even with the polish removers, there is still a stain on Clara's hand! (mine got wiped off perfectly fine with makeup remover, so no worries).
MAC Suite Array Collection PearGlide Eye Liner in Miss Fortune, Bankroll and Fly-by-Blu
Miss Fortune - a nice eggplant pink that is actually quite random for me. It gives out a nice pink glint that i'm sure will turn out perfectly with pink shadows.
Bankroll - i LOVE this green. the bright glitters of this eye liner just stand out when you use it and it totally brightens up your eye. I used it today with MAC Guilded Green Pigment, MAC Mink & Sable eyeshadow of Starflash, MAC Smoke and Diamonds eyeshadow of Starflash and MAC Vintage Gold Pigment of Overrich and the effect is just perfect. A nice dark dirty olive look with a bright green eyeliner. OMG.
Fly-by-Blu - I just love the color, It's really dark blue blue and could be an interesting touch to your shadows if you're tired of plain old black.

Rave- the purple is just fantiastic. It's more of a dark purple with gorgeous purple glitter that makes you want to go OMG.
Wolf - the BEST of all the liners. A fantastic metallic silver that you just HAVE to get it. Enough said.
Black Russian - Another must get. A deep black black that has glitters of green and purple that makes it even better then plain old Feline of
Starflash if you find Feline too BLACK.
As for the other 2, I'm actually really tempted to get Spare Change but if you have other frost brown eyeliners, it may be unnessary even though this collection is like SMOOTH. As for Molasses, reminds me of Orpheus of Starflash only much more brown then olive looking. Never considered it.

Here's a comparison between the similar colors of the 2 collection. Texture wise, Suite Array won hands down... color wise....
Black Russian will be a much better choice as really, Feline smudges like HELL and glitters are pretty.
Raven is actually a darker shade of Miss Fourtune, and Mystery is like a mix of Bankroll and Bly-by-Blu, while Orpheus is just unique and my favourite liner still. =))
If you're still considering on the liners, you will HAVE to make up your mind fast as Isetan is almost sold out and it's going really fast at other places. Buy it fast!!
