Big Day today! and weekend
well today im stoked. Its my day off and I woke up at 930 automatically. cooked a good breakfast and im about to get ready to go out and run some errands (get money, guitar strings, beer, weed) and Mikey is coming today to record larf's new album! im really stoked on recording these new songs plus the ones weve been playing for a while like good times and burnin (i know andy knows what im talking about) we already recorded 7 of the 15 new songs for this album but were doing it all from scratch starting at noon today. I cant wait for it to be finished. I know mikey knows what sound we like and are going for so for him to be doing this project is really awsome to me. he's been one of my favorite local artist since i found out about the creepshow! and that was like fuckin...05 06? i dunno. All I know is hes a kickass recording artist, amazing drummer and my favorite song writer to come out of florida.
also something im stoked on is next week were going to re record 12 of the old songs from the first cd with kyle. were going to do it just how we recorded the first cd. record all the music live together then go do the vocals. And i cant wait to do this with kyle cause i know hes got the equipment and the ears to make anything sound awsome. i anticipate when BTH records with him :)
and speaking of BTH im stoked on our fucking show this sunday! i cant wait to get back in rehearsal mode this weekend especially with Andy coming to town.
also to Andy M. Larf is re recording abyssmal and we made it totally different (kinda) i think you'll like it when you hear it :)
