.2GB was used for factory settings anyways, so I lost out on ~200MB that could have been used.
1.8GB would be a total of 1843MB. 1843MB / average of 5MB per song = 368 songs.
Mines were a bit over, but you see that it doesn't even have the capacity for 500 songs, unless all of them were low quality and two minutes long.
Really, that's another part of advertising that's totally wrong. One, this was not fully 2GB, and two, it doesn't hold 500 songs.
I'm planning on getting this for my birthday given that my iPod runs dry.
