things I should not learn about myself from others
(conversation with one of my best friends)
me- "i think the reason why i'm so shy is that there are so many situations that i feel are just out of my league
friend- "Yeah, well (insert friend from college here) said the reason for your hotness was that you didn't think ANYONE was out of your league" (insert other guy's name here) was always in awe of it."
i haven't stopped blushing since this was said about 3 hours ago.
i am a LOT shier now than in college. I've been burned too many times. I choose my battles more carefully these days, except for the one where I am competely and utterly carried away by the current and can't help myself. and even then I swim with caution.
