Sorry for the delay in posting, home life is busy (when we're not sleeping) and work is very busy (doing all the work needed to put me out of work).
Kathryn when to the mother&baby thing on Monday, got there an hour late and really enjoyed herself. Apparently they do 'rhymetime' with singing and jiggling. It all impressed Kat enough that she's determined to go back again in two weeks (she can't go next week because she has her six week checkup). They also do a similar event at the local library on Thursday which Kat wanted to go to but it turns out that it doesn't run in half term week.
We seem to have managed to get Libby into a basic sleeping pattern - we haven't spent a completely sleepless night since last Wednesday. Kathryn's generally coping well these days apart from being lonely during the day. I'm sure that I've mentioned this before but I think that after working pretty much constantly since leaving university (and being able to go and do what she wanted when she was unemployed) she's finding being trapped in the house on her own with nothing else to do except look after Libby quite trying. I'm not really sure what we can do.
We received good news first thing at work today. Hidden in a very dry end of year report e-mail was a very short paragraph explaining that everyone would be receiving at least a 2.5% paycut before the end of the year. My boss, Mark V, wasn't best please about this because a follow up e-mail then explained that all leaders would be receiveing it first.
