The focus on the Angel's guilt regarding what he did to Spike in the past being the reason to his behavior towards him in the present was very well drived. And you chose the part of the lyrics to match perfectly with the theme.
Thanks so much for this vid, hun. You did an amazing job!!!
There's so much distance between them after Spike gets his soul. Like putting them on equal footing was just something they couldn't quite resolve easily. And letting Dru have William really does haunt him in this. And he can't help it. And Angel doesn't like it, but he doesn't know how to stop him. Not for real. Gorgeous. And it covers so much territory so deftly

How much do I adore you for saying this? (A LOT.) It was interesting for me to get inside Angel's head in this way. The same events suddenly looked different from there.
How you could even do the same relationship multiple times and never feel like you were repeating yourself. It had to be so nerve-wracking.
Yes, these Angel/Spike ones - as excited as I was when I got the requests, were the most demanding in terms of resourcefulness. But my god -- if my regular vidding habits are any indication -- I need to go through bursts of fannish loves, and I *have* to be totally in one love to vid anything. So I can't even imagine doing this project multi-fandom. At least my brain was in the same universe the whole time.
Thanks for your favorites! Those first two clips surprised me too in their likeness. And yep -- Angel keeps messing up, and it's probably only because he doesn't believe

It must have been so difficult to make multiple Angel/Spike vids and yet never hit on the same theme; you've explored them from so many different angles in this project and they all work!
I actually think this is my favorite of the A/S vids, though it's a toss-up. You've treated this song in such an interesting way, being so gentle with it when it's driving, but that just makes the gentleness really stand out. My favorite moments:
- "The guilt has lasted, you still cry": going from Angelus to Angel, William to Spike (and the line following about how it was all planned out), it just really reinforces the heavy weight of Angel's guilt when he looks at Spike. - I really really love how you repeatedly go back to William, that's a great idea - "(how it feels)": I loooove how you connected them with the soul there
Really thoughtful video, and quietly very emotional. I love this one, too. :)
I am so relieved to hear that the different A/S angles worked for you, and even more glad to know you liked this one in particular. The experimental approach with the song treatment was a good thing after all, yay!
Thank you for those favorites. "Thoughtful and emotional" are beyond anything I ever hoped to hear said about this vidlet, so I am just a puddle of gratitude, here.
