So its been a long time since ive been on here writing anything, let alone anything that actually has to do with something. I believe its time to open up and write about the weekend, cuz frankly it was totally fun times. So here goes nothin ...
Friday started off like any other, waking up, gettin ready, goin to work, which sucked btw. But then 6 o'clock rolls around and i head out, gotta go to amy's parents place and pick up some stuff for her apt in windsor (since thats where the rest of the story takes place), then go get dave and begin the journey. My original plan woulda had me in the fantastic town of lasalle by about 8-380 ........... whoops, finally pulled in my friends driveway about 845-9ish, "okay, I can do this, we still got time", i kept telling myself. Now here comes the difficult part, i have to get from here, to amy's place, and then to the theater in about 40 min, which doesnt seem too bad, except that i have no idea where i am going, so naturally i am about 20 min late for the movie, (sensing a trend here??, normally im early not late, dunno what happened here) but nonetheless, we got to the theatre to see the last kiss ... which was totally amazing btw, even after i missed a good intro chunk of the film.
So then the movie is done and we begin to proceed to next phase of the evening, which is going to get drunk off our asses and hit the bars. We hail a cab and mosey on down to a place called peppers, its kinda dead in there so we grab a drink and go to the next place, called rush. Now this place was hoppin a bit more, but frankly looked more like someone's garage with loud music and bright strobe lights or somethin, naturally we dont stay in that one long, so katie and i go to this other bar called 'the loop', if you've never been, find a way to go, its totally awesome, the atmosphere is great, and they have cool music playing the whole time.
Closing time rolls around and we now have to meet up with amy and dave somewhere, naturally, we walk past each other and it takes us a while to find each other. But once we do, we hop in a new cab and head back to amy's apartment for more drinking. Coolest thing is, she has a balcony and it was a nice night to just sit and chillax .... wanted to stay up until the sun rose, but that didnt happen, ended up passin out about 6 that mornin, waking up, feeling like total shit, but it was worth it from the night before. So after we all get soberish enough and restedish enough to move, we hop in the car and head for brunch, at about 2 in the afternoon, at a golden griddle .... which has an all you can eat breakfast buffet ..... sweet!
after lunch we begin to part ways, drop katie off at home, go back to amy's place, then a quick tour to the devonshire mall before finally sayin goodbye to her, and then dave and i made the long journey back to p-town, t'was good times all in all, and i wouldnt trade it for anything.
I need to do this again real soon........
