summer i wish you were here...

i sampled a teeny tiny piece of a durain today. it smells bad...the fruit's pulp isn't very pleasing to the eye (kinda like a mushy custard look....and smelled like it went bad)...the texture was a bit gooey and fibery at the same time...my tastebuds were not overwhelm with extraordinary flavors, instead it left a funny heavy aftertaste.
final verdict: not going to try one again
durians are apparently not allowed to be brought on sigaporean subway stations, that amuses me
