Lake Orion Competitions
woooo! I just got back from Competitions at Lake Orion! no actually I just woke up. Let me telllll you today was sooo damn long.
hmm, I'll start from friday :-]
We had a home game <3 I love em, they're so much fun. It was against Salem. The guys did so good. but there was so manly basketball player problems. I guess Dennis tried to fight with the coach? not totally sure but wooo, i thought girls had drama!
I mess up on every cheer almost, it's kinda funny sometimes. We did round one for half time = I'm not even in it but it was good. We all sung happy birthday to jenny right before it :-)
It was hella cute.
JV lost though. of course, i can't remember the score :-/
Then a buncha kids stayed for varsity. It was a fun game. emily likes to call boys every 5 seconds and play prank calls. hahah I was like this is roxaaaaan :-D
The middle school pom performed at halftime. they did so good!
Varsity won :-D duhhhhhhhhh!
Today. aaaah competition mornings. I woke up at 5am. that's not fun at all :-(
We had to be at Mckinley at 6:30. the bus ride didnt seem very long cause well, i was sleeping :-D but it was like an hour maybe?
Lake Orion is huge!! There were so many awesome teams there. I'm still so surprised. Rodchester and Cheasning? I'm not sure how to spell it but wow. They were both amazing. Their freshmen were just as good as our varsity.
...they do start "breeding cheerleaders in 2nd grade" hahaha. I still think that's hilarious.
Our freshmen did awesome. they always do. There's so much drama between freshmen and Jv and i still dont know why. WE GO TO THE SAME SCHOOL. YOURE NOT COMPETITING WITH EACH OTHER. It's kinda obvious how all of it started but I'll keep my mouth closed. even though im typing here :-D
I'm proud of them though I think their round three got Third? I'm not totally sure but they did get Third place for one of their rounds.
As for us, i think we did good too :-)
Personlly I kicked ass because well...NO HEEL STRECH DROPPED HERE!
I wasnt nervious like the whole time we were there untill we started warming up right before we were gunna go on. But it was so much fun. I absolutely loved how it felt after i hit everything. I may kinda suck at my jumps but heeeey i did it all :-D
Then we see Rodchester throw back walkovers and back hand springs and all I could say was...WELL MY HEEL STRECH DIDNT DROP. haha I wasnt being bred into a cheerleader in 2nd grade...sorry. :-P
For our round 2 I think we got 8th our of 15 which isnt bad at all considering who was all there. :-]
I'm not sure what we got on the rest of our rounds.
Our competition ended around 4ish. We watched varsitys round one :-)
They are so cute i swear. I love how they cheer. <3
Melissa and I got lost on our way to the bus. we had to get back and get our bags and completely got lost. It's so confusing in there..but we found the bus. oh well, it happens.
I got home at like 6 I think? i just went to sleep and now im feeling realllllly lazy. But it happens. comment pleaaaase :-)
