I spent spring break in Boston. Or, mostly just Cambridge. The change of scenery was so helpful for breaking bad habits. I stopped drinking coffee (!!!!!!!!!) and I revamped how I eat. I got back to exercising. I talked to a lot of old friends, and a lot of new friends who wanted advice on applying to med school. Talking about med school made me feel like a life coach, which was ridiculous considering how little I know about life. But I can't wait until their reach their goals of getting into MD and MD/PhD programs. They are amazing people.
Yet another new cafe in Cambridge...
I loved the radiance of this place.
I actually stayed in a room in the building I stayed in as an undergrad! A lot of the young people I knew were still living there, except they are now seniors who are about to head off into the world and do amazing things.
Staying in my old dormitory building meant that I could cook for myself... and amuse myself with the sights at the grocery store.
MIT <3
I went hiking in the Blue Hills. Never agree to do this when you're wearing scrubs and can't run home to change. Yes, I am embarrassed to say I was just lounging around in scrubs because they're so comfortable. Then I froze in the mountains, but it was a pretty view.
:)
My favorite cafe as an undergrad. I got locked out of my dorm, so I went across the street and drank their cascarilla rose tea. My favorite thing is the wall art... each shape is made from a continuous piece of tissue paper.
