Yah, I'm not at all surprised Hillary seized the moment to soften up a little. I was listening to interviews with women votes in NH and was just struck by the number who decided to vote for Hillary after she cried. It was really fascinating, though, again, not really surprising. One mom mentioned that her daughter (a toddler) asked who Hillary Clinton was, and the mom said "She's running for president and we want her to win because she's a woman." The momdecided she felt this way about Hillary, again, AFTER the crying. I dunno...I don't want to find this disappointing, but I do. I mean, am I silly for not just being automatically pro-Obama because he's black? Should I keep it simple? On the plus side, I guess the last eight years of Bush hasn't completely turned us into a country of cynics. :P I was totally sure Hillary would be utterly vilified (though I guess she was to a degree) after the stunt, but it actually worked well in her favor.
