I come out of each of his flicks with the same complaint, actually, which keeps me from being a hardcore fan. It's certainly his right to present his one-sided arguments...what annoys me are his adherents whose entire knowledge of the issues seem to occupy the space between the opening and closing credits. These folks drive me nuts. I'm not an expert on socialized healthcare systems by any stretch, but I'm smart enough to understand that the Right isn't the only side capable/guilty of spewing out propaganda. If Moore had presented a more moderate take (e.g., "it ain't utopia over there, there are definitely some serious problems -- and by the way let's talk about those problems -- but it's still a hell of a lot better than what we have over here") I would have SO much more respect for him and everyone would be better off. I so agree with everything you just said. The only way to fix is to have an honest debate between both parties whter they be left or right or Democrat or Republican. A more moderate view is needed.
Unfortunately, I don't see either happening anytime soon. Too many folks seem unwilling to meet in the middle, preferring everything in broad strokes: right/wrong, good/evil. :(

A more moderate view is needed.
