My next camera?

I've been waiting for a credible, comprehensive and (relatively) unbiased review of the soon-to-be-released (early June) Canon 1D Mark III to appear online, and one finally has.  It would seem the new camera is everything it's cracked up to be (i.e., phenomenal), which is a relief.  I'm due to upgrade my kit this fall/winter and was having a hard time choosing between the Canon 5D, a discounted 1D Mark II or a Sigma S14 (despite its off-off-brand status, the S14's flawless skin tones and overall brilliant color reproduction are enormously compelling.)  However, with statements like "Pixel-for-pixel, the image quality is the best we've seen from a digital SLR, and except for one preproduction body glitch, it's also the best SLR we've ever shot with too", I guess my decision is made (the "preproduction" glitch is a funky autofocus mechanism.  Shouldn't be an issue on release.)  The lightly processed test photos attached to the review are gorgeous (sharp and punchy with beautiful tonality.)  It's simply a new day in digital photography when a photo can be pushed to 12,800 ISO and run through a noise filter and come out looking no worse than an unfiltered 800-1600 ISO photo.  And the in-camera processing is brilliant (apparently the best ever on a DSLR).  JPEGs look little different from RAW files (there's a sample in the review.)  Fantastic.  Plus, the color fidelity seems on par with the S14 (though skin tones are not quite as rich), which honestly came as a surprise.  This is a really awesome camera.  I think I'll still hold on to the 20D (or sell it and upgrade to a 30D or a 40D, whenever that comes out), so I won't have to part with my beloved 17-55mm EF-S lens.  Still, I'm anxious to wrap my fingers around this camera...
