Today was ultimately stressful. I gave speeches in History (rather unprepared, but it went well) and in Spanish (didn't go as well, but whatever.)
I substituted for the walking I missed today (Hero's mother picked us up) for two walks uphill.
I'm slowly recovering from the case of post-performance jitters. The choir concert itself was pretty heavy on the SoutherAires, though everyone got a turn onstage. A La Nanita Nana went well, everyone said I did well, and my mother (the only music reader who heard me rehearse) was just gushing.
I've been giving Eggroll the cold shoulder. Perhaps this is wrong of me, but Kayla is already miserable, so I am exchanging the horrible horrible experience of mine that Eggroll facilitated, and evening matters just a little.
Tomorrow brings a long-awaited presentation in IB Theater, and a performance at the Capitpol rotunda. (I'm accompanying agian, it went so well!)If I don't screw that up, I may permanently make it to Mrs. Stenson's list of first rate accompanyists.
