Friday, December 19th 2008 - Washington D.C.
Arrived in Washington D.C. via train, which wasn't as bad as I thought. Didn't do any sightseeing today and have just lounged around the hotel (although the White House and Capitol Hill looked very impressive on the way in. The White House, the Smithsonian and Capitol Hill are only about 2km away from our hotel and the Air & Space Museum is about 250 metres away so most stuff is easy to get to.
For the first time we have free internet access, however the wireless signal isn't strong enough so once again I have to borrow my brother's computer instead of being able to use my iPod Touch. :(
Washington D.C. was my main interest on this trip, so I hope it is exciting!
