Anyway, so, it's probably time for a decent update. How is everyone? I'm currently chillin in my room at the moment. My friend Kalani is sleeping on my bed, lol. Its raining and nasty outside, so I don't blame her for wanting to take a nap.
Meryl has been gone for the whole weekend. It's been amazing. It's always really nice when she leaves. (Which has been a total of like.. 2 days the whole time I've been here) I think we're doing okay now, since we mutually ignore eachother.
Finals start this week. I'm really worried about my econ final the most-- Luckily that's my last one. I have my History final that I really need to study for this week (cause it's on Friday). I have a 10 page paper due on Wednesday that I haven't started, so it's my plan to actually start it after I'm done with this entry. Because I really don't want to write it the night before. I mean, even if I can't get it completely finished today, I have until 5pm on Wednesday to do so. So, I'm not too worried. Today seems like a good day to get things done.
My decision for what to major in has been plaguing my mind lately. I really would like to do just Japanese... but I feel like I should do computer science-- not just because of the industry, but because I really like them. I really enjoy doing HTML and programming. Maybe I should transfer into a technical college like MTI or ITT tech. They do area-specific things, and I could learn programming: something that I want to do honestly. I wouldn't have to go through things like hardware training very much, and I could get paid as someone who can be hired. I could be a freelance webdesigner or something. Or work with a company who wants to do overseas work, or wants to translate their website or something! That sounds like my dream job, really. That... or make video games. (haha)
Japan is coming up very quickly. I'm getting nervous, but I have no time to be honestly excited about it because I'm really scared about this quarter's grades. I need to keep a 2.0 gpa, and I'm scared that it might be in jeopardy. -_-;;
This is not how I wanted college to go..
Apparently my friend, whose name I wont say, is getting kicked out of the university because she can't keep her grades up. Its very frustrating for me, as someone who tries to keep her grades up and fails, to see someone who doesn't try and gives up easily. She's a good friend and I don't want to see her go because college was too hard. I'm upset about it, really. What will she do? How will her future employers view that? She was kicked out of a good university because she was too lazy to do her work. =\ It makes me want to work hard because of it.
So, to let everyone know for sure, I'm leaving from SFO to KIX (Kansai International) on the 28, and I'm returning on June 12 (maybe-- depends on whether or not I can extend my ticket). Be excited for me, cause right now I can't be.
