When I came home from sign language class tonight there was a man pissing in my driveway.  I rolled down my window, "What are you doing, man?" and he drunkenly replied "takin' a piss!  hold on a minute" (because I was about to run him over).  I angrily asked, "On my fucking garage?!?"  (excuse the language but I was rightfully upset).  He finished

It is not totally a gender thing- the times I've confronted people in my life I am always looking over my shoulder for a week or two. In this case I wouldn't worry too much though. The guy probably won't remember what happened and if he does he won't have the motivation to do anything about it. People like that piss me off more than they scare me. The disrespect factor really galls me to the point where I make it a bigger deal than it is. For example, this weekend the cable guy was here to install cable into an apartment in the house in front of ours. He had to get into our yard to do so, but rather than finding us to open the locked alley gate he decided to pry the gate open and bend the latch back to gain access. Jen confronted him after finding him wandering around our yard, and he claimed he didn't do it and quickly left. I was not home, which was probably good because i probably would have gotten into a physical fight with this guy because of my bad temper and lack of tolerance for that kind of disrespect.

Bullshit like this makes me realize I probably won't live in a city all my life. Not that there are not assholes in smaller areas, but at least they are spread out more and seem to be fewer in number. In my last two apartments I have witnessed people pissing in my alley/garbage cans. If you pissed on someones trash cans or broke into a yard in Medina you'd probably get shot.
