I threw a party yesterday
We had a punk show in the basement. First time I ever moshed at home. I haven't updated livejournal in years, but it apparently still works. In that timespan, I broke up with the girl who was totally my best friend, finished college, stirred up a frenzy among everyone I know by getting drunk and talking about marrying someone I wasn't even having a great time with, and started graduate school. Now I have enough homework to keep me reading and writing all day, so of course I spend most of my time playing bass at open mics, and watching friends' bands play in bars. On the upside, my floor is clean for the first time in my life.
The Lost Atoms are an awesome band for playing my party, and are totally worthy of your support, as are the Casual Occupation, for being ready to play the party, but instead, for just watching the Atoms, hanging out, having a few beers, and totally dominating at Mario Cart. I hear both bands have friendster pages, for those with google skills and motivation.
