Ech, hardly anyones online tonight. Davide came over and we laughed at some people and now hes gone :(
Ah well.
Today:
Woke up. Emm had stayed over and took ages putting make up on and we'd knocked a duvet ontop of my alarm clock so we didnt hear it for ages so was kinda late. Nevermind.
Got to lesson a lil late without eating, hadnt eaten last night either but nvm. Got to college, Linda had a go at us as she does, cos we're so crap and are going to fail and she sees the need to remind us every lesson. Megan got all upset, shes had a crappy few days and such so yeh. Not in the best of moods with Linda.
We looked further at A Midsummer Night's Dream. I'm acting Bottom for the moment, its fun though I think I wanna be Puck more. Doesnt matter though, I doubt I'll get the choice as most characters can just about be acted by girls and there are two principle boys who cant and two boys in the group, so yeh...
Ah well though, doesnt matter. Its all fun still.
After college I had band, we have our first gig on Monday! Its scary...I mean...its really scary. I've performed live music before, thats always been a cover, someone telling me what to play and generally songs that dont get much more complicated than ABABABA or something. This is MY music. If people don't like it, I've got nothing to hide behing or anything, its people not liking my art. Plus its hard...we still arent perfect each time. Nevermind though. It'll work I'm sure, I'm just a scared. Also, we're closer than other things. Actings different, I'm not close to my whole group, I'm in that to get the best mark I can if others fuck up its their bad and not mine as long as I can cope. And if I fuck up I can always pull it back together. I cant with music. We're a four together. If one of us fucks up we all suffer its not just one of ours bad, its the bands bad. And if I fuck up I cant pull it back together as easily. Ech, I'm scared.
Nevermind though. It'll be cool. Its not too important a gig I suppose anyway. Adam's student union have organised it in conjunction with Live Aid. So...it sounds good I can make a lot out of it, but its in Linfield and lets face it, who the fucks gonna go to Linfield??
Still, its my first.....
We've just changed one of our songs a load. The verse is now the chorus, the chorus the verse, so we've had to change the prechorus entirely as well, and I've played around slightly with the drums and the end is entirely different. We had middle eighth then breakdown then end, now its a completely new middle eighth then chorus then outro. Meh, I doubt any of you care that much about the details, but yeh. Either way its scary.
I'm looking now at buying a backdrop and I'm thinking of sketching a few webpage things so we can hurry up and get all that kinda thing sorted.
Ah well...I'm sleepy. Night people.
