Where the hell do you get a bicycle basket? Or, better yet, a set of those awesome wire panniers that go on the back rack??? Craigslist has failed me repeatedly in this search, and it would be totally sweet to get some and be a responsible bike commuter. Bike folk? what say ye?
Anwyay, first thesis meeting was today, and it went well, I think. Plus, today was the day my exercise got critiqued in creative writing. Let me tell you about my greatest social fear--having a roomful of people reading and judging my writing while I'm right in the room and unable to defend or apologize for myself. So, I was pretty nervous. But that went well too: Pete seemed to really really like mine, and everyone else seemed really affected by it (in a good way) and had lots of stuff to say about it. Pretty cool.
