The Bard Know as A-Mac

This tale begins many months ago
In the vast desert known as Arizona
The bard known wandering through the desert was known by many names
Andy Mac
Amac
Mac Attack
Andrew Lionheart
Etc
For he was known by many names through many cultures
But always revered for his awe-inspiring tales
Well
As the bard known as Amac was wandering the strange deserts of the land known as 'Arizona'
He encountered a tribe of Navajo Indians
They were generally a peaceful tribe, but one with little wealth
Many lived in trailers
In his compassion, he even helped another group build a small house for a family
But that is a different tale indeed
While camping not far from one of the ancient temples now in ruin
There was a great commotion stirred up in the night
One of the missionaries from a distant land know as Atlanta
Whom Amac occasionally traveled with
Raised a great cry
While foraging through the brush at night
She came upon a fearsome beast
Know as the 'rattlesnake'
The missionary was frozen to the spot
As the viper shook with rage
For it had almost been stepped upon
Quickly, Amac and the natives organized a party to seek out and destroy this vile beast
For it had intruded upon their territory
Picking up a spear, the bard sprinted towards the still- screaming missionary
A fierce battle ensued, for the viper was both clever in wits, and deadly in its attack
As the last of the warriors arrived, the gasped in disbelief before joining the fight
The viper was no ordinary snake, but a king among kings
Stretched flat, the snake lay close to 40 ft from tip to tail
After Amac wounded the beast with a well-thrown spear, he retreated, dodging the deadly fangs
With the snake occupied with the bard, a lone warrior seized the initiative, and leapt into action
He hurled his spear with a terrible force, and it drove straight through the beast’s massive head
With that, Amac returned to his camp, wondering what sort of adventures would befall him tomorrow.....
THE END
